The sound of a bird pecking to drill a hole in a tree. A nearby birch tree has 5 or 6 trunks, one flat and low enough to lie on (an unintended utility for humans) - the upper branches of the trees sway in a wind almost unfelt at ground level. A duck and two drakes walk by - though they are hundreds of metres from the nearest water (have they walked all the way?).
All these things seem to me unusual - I suppose that's why I notice them.
Greenflies, and other tiny insects keep appearing on my clothes and I keep interrupting this to brush them off with my writing hand - the other hand is holding the hand held computer. There are so many insects that I feel I have to go - I can feel one creeping down my back beneath my shirt but I can't reach it with my hand.
Now for some more exercise - I get up and walk
a bird is drilling a hole in a tree
in the mechanical age the control of many people by a few was necessary but now it is not
one branch of the birch tree is low enough for humans to lie on (unintended utility)
it is necessary now to cease the control of many by a few - to enable life to self-organise
the upper branches of the trees sway in a wind that is almost unfelt at ground level
if you believe in control, self-organisation may appear to be passivity, leaving the mechanical age to continue unopposed beyond its time
a duck and two drakes walk by - though hundreds of metres from the nearest water (have they walked all the way?)
if you believe in self-organisation, control appears mistaken, extending instead of ending the mechanical agegreenflies, and other tiny insects, keep appearing on my clothes
self-organising, being the stronger action, looks weak (is that why it annoys people so much?)
i keep interrupting this to brush them off with my writing hand - the other hand is holding the hand held computer
control, being the weaker action, looks strong (is that why it keeps failing, and why fascsim fails?)
there are so many insects that i feel i have to go
writing these thoughts is i hope a constructive non-action leaving each of us free to self-organise without interfering with each other
i can feel one insect creeping down my back beneath my shirt but i can't reach it with my hand
putting these thoughts amongst descriptions of nature is i hope a way of combining theory and practice
now for some more exercise - i get up and walk
